It has been a spell since I have blogged. I’ve been trying to decide which direction to take with my writing.
Reminiscing?
I have had some fascinating conversations with other former Carroll employees. I am in the process of writing up 41 suggestions for making Carroll better.
Celebration and Meditation?
I’m enjoying new opportunities for learning, reflection and communing with Nature. It is wonderful to continue hearing from alums and other members of my extended Carroll family.
After spending so much time using my MacBook Pro, I am trying to get used to using an iMac at home (the computer was my Mom’s).
Book reviewing?
Should I join a book club? Should I start one?
I hope to finish reading these books this month (though I am unconvinced that I need to read all 777 pages to master my iPhone!). I am contemplating joining a book club, many of whose members are former faculty colleagues.
I just finished John Powers’ The Overstory. I can understand how it won a Pulitzer Prize.
