A “Revisited” blog post indicates that I reread the original and used AI-assisted tools (e.g., Grammarly) to improve grammar and word choice.

I made my first two visits to the Carroll campus since my retirement in October ( the Old Main Society Donors Recognition Dinner and Homecoming). I returned a third time in December to attend a Christmas brunch for emeriti faculty. It was sad to return knowing that a dear, beloved colleague, Pete Settle, who epitomized so much of what Carroll claims to value, had recently passed away.
Though I still struggle to understand what it MEANS to be a Carroll emeritus faculty, it truly is joyful to continue connecting with individuals from the Carroll Community who impacted my life. That, of course, includes former (and a few present) students.
